I paint all of my pet portraits from scratch based on photos that you send to me. To see an example of a painting being created stroke by stroke, here’s one of my time-lapse videos.
My hand-crafted pet portraits also make excellent birthday and Christmas presents or, for that matter, a very personal and unique gift all year round! You can choose to have your portrait either unframed or fully framed, mounted and ready to hang.
Gift Cards are also available from my shop if you’d like the recipient to be involved in the portrait process.

Frame Styles
All frames are made to order they can be customised to suit. Perhaps you’d like a particular colour frame or mount? Or perhaps you’d like a different thickness of mount? My framer has 100’s of styles available. Just let me know and I’ll do my best to find something for you. I can also send you a mock-up to give you an idea of how your finished portrait will look.
As an example, the most popular combination is a portrait size of 17″x12″ (432mm x 305mm), with a 45mm mount. This, when combined with an average thickness frame, gives an approximate on-the-wall size of 550mm x 420mm.

What Next?
Once you’ve chosen your preferred option, it’s easy to get the ball rolling….
Step 1: Get In Touch
First things first, contact me for a chat. Simply send me a message via the ‘Get in touch’ form, below.
I’ll then reach out to you so that we can talk over the details and, once you’re happy, we can move on to Step 2.
Step 2: Photos & Deposit
It’s time to send me some photos of your pet and the deposit. Photos can be uploaded, and the deposit paid, via the commission form, below. Please try to avoid sending me photos from social media, e.g. Facebook, as the photos likely won’t be detailed enough due to the image compression that these sites use.
Once I’ve started painting your Pet Portrait…..
Updates
I can send you an update or two if you’d like – such as a preliminary sketch or basic colour blocking – just to make sure you’re happy with how it’s going. It’s up to you.
Completion
I’ll let you know when your pet portrait is complete. I’ll then send you an invoice for the remaining cost. Unless you’d prefer to keep it a surprise, I can also send you a final proof of your portrait.
Once payment has been received, your pet portrait will be sent off for production/framing. Once that’s done, I’ll update your order with delivery tracking details when it’s on its way to you.
Review
As a small business, I’d love it if you could leave a review of your experience. Full details of how to do this will be emailed to you a few days after you’ve received your portrait.
It would also be great if you could send me a photo of the completed portrait. I rarely get to see them once my framers have worked their magic, and it’s always nice to see the finished article.
